SKIING

The eastern side features challenging slopes, hosting the annual World Cup downhill route. Nestled in the western expanse, this apartment offers access to a diverse terrain—a blend of runs suitable for all levels, a children's area, and a sprawling network of cross-country trails amidst picturesque landscapes.

HIKING

Many of the trails go in high mountain terrain, with views towards Rondane and Huldreheimen, while other trails go in forest terrain. The 90 km long Peer Gynt path which offers good opportunities to go from place to place through Peer Gynt's Kingdom.

On the west side, Gondolen Fjellbistro offers a cozy atmosphere with home-cooked meals and beverages. Varden restaurant maintains an exceptional standard. Koia, an ancient log cabin on the east side, serves gourmet sausages and drinks—an ideal slope-side stop reminiscent of Austrian après-ski. Newcomer Fôr serves delightful lunch and exquisite 5- to 7-course dinners.

LOCATION. 4 hours drive from Oslo airport, conveniently positioned 45 minutes north of Lillehammer, easily accessible from the E6.  From the E6 highway, take the exit at Fåvang and follow the directional signage guiding you towards Kvitfjell. Proceed towards Kvitfjell West. Once past the ski resort, follow Svinslåvegen for approximately 1 kilometer before turning right onto Svartskardvegen. Ascend this road toward the summit, passing under two ski bridges, and continue through a tunnel/culvert. The project is situated at the final turn just before the road concludes.
